What is it like to attend an NFL game?
NFL games are some of the most fun to attend. Professional football is a fast-paced game with enthusiastic fan bases that make home stadiums loud and energetic. Seeing games live in person can be much more intense than watching on television, and it’s an opportunity to see superstars up close and personal. The speed of the game is much more evident live. NFL games are very popular among sports fans. There’s pre-game tailgating with friends, the in-stadium atmosphere during the game, and the thrill of playing of playing a small role in your team’s success.
Where can you experience the best atmosphere in the NFL?
The New Orleans Saints have the best game-day environment in the NFL. Their fans never fail to give everything they have to the games, and many of them show up in full costume.
Lambeau Field is the NFL's most hallowed venue, and rightly so. The entire town of Green Bay is either at home watching the game, or they are in Lambeau Field cheering their guts out for the Packers. Gas stations don't even stay open.
Seattle Seahawks fans get so loud that the ground literally shakes. Imagine how loud they'll get if their team starts winning again. The Seahawks are lucky that their fans don't have much else going on in Seattle other than a bunch of rain, because they let out all their pent-up emotions at games.
Which is the best stadium in the NFL?
Lambeau Field (Green Bay Packers) - The city revolves around this place and for good reason. If you’re visiting, you practically step into a time machine when you step through Lambeau Field’s gates and sit on the metal bleachers. Of course, it wouldn’t be Lambeau Field without the tailgating and the passionate fan base. If anyone ever suggested replacing Lambeau Field, they would never be allowed to visit Wisconsin again.
CenturyLink Field (Seattle Seahawks) - Seattle lies on Puget Sound, and it’s known for coffee, rain and grunge. So it’s appropriate for its stadium to have a loud, perked-up crowd that forms its own elemental mosh pit of intimidation. It serves up a home-field advantage like no other.
SoFi Stadium (Los Angeles Chargers/Rams) - The Rams and Chargers don't have the same Hollywood appeal yet as modern NFL franchises, but spending a few billion on a premier venue, even without fans, gives them something different than a college football or soccer feel.
Allegiant Stadium (Las Vegas Raiders) - The Raiders left their troubled venue in Oakland, Calif., for their fancy new digs right off the Las Vegas Strip, aptly in a place named Paradise. It's an impressive construction with a Space Age-look, a mix of Silver and Blackness that matches the glitz nearby in the desert.
AT&T Stadium (Dallas Cowboys) Some people don’t love the football amusement park known as Jerry World, but it deserves credit for being modernly majestic more so than a messy monstrosity. Of course, it has America’s Team and there’s just something different about watching football in Texas.
Who are the best players ever to play the NFL?
Who is the greatest NFL player of all-time? Is Tom Brady the greatest player to ever play pro football? Or will you pick Jerry Rice and his insane catching skills? Or it might be ‘Cool’ Joe Montana for his talent under pressure? Over ten decades of phenomenal and intriguing football enjoyed in the NFL, the league has seen some of the best players, most of whom have hung the boot already, a few still actively present in the game while others are at the horizon of their careers. These players are the primary reasons thousands pull through to various American football stadiums in flags and colours to enjoy another wonderful, entertaining pro football event. They are the threshold of the gridiron world.
Jerry Rice - Jerry Rice is a ten-time all-pro and won three Super Bowls. He leads just about everything you could ask for in terms of wide receiver stats. There is a reason why Rice is considered the GOAT. He was Offensive Player of the Year twice, and also went to 13 Pro Bowls.
Tom Brady - Tom Brady is the best quarterback of all-time, and sits with six Super Bowl rings. More could even be on the way. He has over 60,000 passing yards, and is closing in on 500 passing touchdowns. Brady will also go down as one of the best late-round picks in NFL draft history.
Barry Sanders - Barry Sanders retired prematurely and would have climbed even higher on the leaderboards. He finished with over 15,000 rushing yards, and had 99 touchdowns. Sanders finished with an MVP trophy, and won Offensive Player of the Year twice.
Jim Brown - Jim Brown played just nine seasons in the NFL, which is about the standard for running backs these days. But back in the late 50s and early 60s, Brown was a force. He finished with over 12,000 rushing yards, and had 106 rushing touchdowns. Brown rushed for 5.2 yards per carry.
Joe Montana - Montana played for the 49ers from 1979-92 and then the Chiefs from 93-94. He can lay claim to 4 Super Bowl titles and 3 Super Bowl MVPs. He was noted for his ability to keep calm under pressure and he helped his teams to 32 fourth-quarter comebacks which is a very impressive tally.
